Wash Water Recyclers
WWR Brochure & Photo

GETÔ Wash Water Recyclers offer the ultimate in efficiency, reliability, and quality. Used wash water is recycled using a compact, self-contained, multi-stage, state of the art water treatment system. The wash water is collected into a sump or holding tank. Then all you need is the GETÔ WWR closed loop system to provide a continuous supply of clean water for washing again. And again. And again.

The GET WWR system operates as follows:

 (1) Sump/Feed Pump

The system is provided with a low shear pump to prevent the formation of a mechanical emulsion which could hinder oil separation. You may choose a sump type pump to be used with a below grade collection pit or a feed pump mounted on the Waste Water Recycler.  Either pump is constructed of high quality corrosion resistant materials.

 (2) Flocculant Injection

A flocculant injection system is used to aid in the removal of suspended solids that can cause excessive filter replacement costs. This disinfectant is non-toxic, and acts to collect smaller particles together into clumps for easy removal by subsequent system components.

 (3) Oil & Solids Separator

The water next enters the Oil & Solids Separator where oils and greases are mechanically separated from the water for skimming, and solids are allowed to collect at the tank bottom and flow to the solids collection tank. The valve on the bottom leading to the solids collection tank may be opened from time to time or left partially open for a controlled flow. An automatic oil skimmer separates and removes oil, along with some water, to an oil collection tank.

 (4) Oil Collection Tank

The oil collection tank contains additional mechanical separation media for second stage treatment. Oils are drained off the top from time to time using a manual valve. Water is returned to the sump from time to time using a second manual valve.

 (5) Filter Pump

After oil and solids separation, The Filter Pump pulls the treated water from a mid-level position in the oil & solids collector tank and pumps the water through the filters for further purification. The Filter Pump is also constructed of corrosion resistant materials for long, trouble-free life.

 (6) Multi-Media Filter

The Multi-Media filter removes fine dirt and turbidity.  An automatic backwash cleaning system reduces maintenance and keeps operating expenses low. The long life media lasts for years with proper operation. The automatic valve is set using a timer.

 (7) Activated Carbon Filter

The Activated Carbon Filter removes any remaining oil, any pesticides, and helps with odor control. It is supplied with a backwash valve to extend the life of the carbon media. The automatic valve is set using a timer.

 (8) Disinfectant Injection

A disinfectant injection system is used to prevent bacterial growth that can cause excessive filter replacement and unpleasant odors. This disinfectant is non-toxic, and aids in color removal and overall water quality. Hydrogen Peroxide is recommended, but chlorine may also be used.

 (9) Cartridge Filter

The 5m Cartridge Filter removes any remaining fine solids and trace amounts of oil. This assures that the recycled water is clean enough to be used for washing again.

 (10) Storage Tank (Optional)

The GETÔ WWR Wash Water Recycler can be supplied with the customer’s choice of storage tanks. The optional tank is furnished with an automatic fresh water make-up system so that the cleaning equipment is assured of a continuing supply of water. A repressurization pump (also optional) can boost the water pressure to the desired level for feeding the wash system.

 (11) Solids Collection Unit

Solids removed from the Oil & Solids Separator are collected in this part of the system for easy, economical disposal. The backwash flow from the Multi-Media and ACF filters also run through this system before returning to the sump. This collections unit allows water to drain back to the sump for reuse, while retaining the solids for disposal through a manual valve located at the bottom of this cone-bottom tank. An opening sized for typical 5-gallon buckets has been made under this tank.

The GETÔ WWR system is your assurance of substantial savings in water costs, compliance with environmental regulations, and improvement of the environment. Its economical operation, founded on quality materials, state-of-the-art design and superb craftsmanship, guarantees you years of trouble-free, cost-effective performance. GETÔ warrants the systems to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one full year from the date of installation (up to 18 months from date of shipment from the factory).
