Seawater Desalinators
SW Marine Series Brochure
SWL, Land Based Series Brochure
Class:
B-Series (Basic) includes a
direct-drive forged brass pressure pump, forged brass fittings, single-stage
prefiltration, basic glycerin-filled high and low pressure gauges, product flow
meter, potable water indication and automatic diverter valve. Auto shut-down for
motor overload or high pressure fault. Designed
for light or intermittent duty (about 2 hours per day average, not more than 8
hours in any one day). Maximum pressure 1,000 PSI. Seawater of up to 38,000 TDS
can be purified, producing product water of around 500 PPM TDS. Ratings based on
seawater of 36,000 PPM TDS and temperature of 25°
C (77°
F).
BH series
is similar to the Basic class except that the HP pump is upgraded to forged
nickel-aluminum-bronze, a heavier duty motor is used, a quality,
corrosion-resistant feed pump and larger pre-filter are included, and a brine or
reject flow meter is added. Designed for medium duty (about 4-6 hours per day
average, not more than 14 hours in any one day). Seawater of up to 48,000 PPM
TDS can be purified.
SWC commercial marine class includes a heavy
duty feed pump, belt-driven oversized nickel-aluminum-bronze pressure pump,
forged brass fittings, two-stage, high capacity prefiltration, digital,
automatic product diversion, upgraded analogue instruments. Auto shut-down for
motor overload, high pressure fault and low pressure fault, with panel
indication of reason for fault. Optional alarm for low product quality.
Designed for heavy duty (up to 24 hours per day). Maximum pressure 1,000
PSI. Seawater of up to 45,000 PPM TDS can
be purified, producing product water of around 500 PPM TDS. Ratings based on
seawater of up to 38,000 PPM at temperatures down to 20°
C (68°
F). Optional temperature compensated product water TDS readout with
semi-automatic controls.
Digital Semi-Automation Package includes integrated PLC (Programmable
Logic Controller) control package, pressure switches, interfaces, system fault
indications, auto shut-down system. Auto shut-down as in Com-B, plus high filter
pressure differential and others.
Digital Automation Package and Cleaning System includes all components described
in the Semi-Automation package, plus digital product and reject flow meters, upgraded
instrumentation, semi-automated membrane cleaning system, and expanded system function
controls. Also included are level switches for chemical injection tanks (as applicable).
Additional auto shut-downs based on high product flow or low reject flow.
HR indicates High Rejection membranes. These membranes produce water
of exceptional purity. The usual product TDS at 36,000 PPM feed is below 300 PPM. High
Rejection membranes, when properly designed into a quality R/O system, can produce WHO
standard drinking water (below 500 PPM) even with high feed TDS approaching 50,000 PPM.
