GWE Distributor GWE sells much of the equipment we make through distributors in strategic locations. The distributor is our marketing arm and our conduit to the market in his region. Distributors buy equipment at a discount and re-sell through dealers, OEM's, agents or directly to the end user, earning a profit on sales of equipment and spare parts, as well as service. Distributors are expected to carry substantial inventory in order to service their customer base and local market demands. Distributors receive factory training and ongoing support to help them to provide superior customer service, and to enjoy success in selling. For larger projects, such as municipal desalination projects that the distributor develops, usually the distributor will function as a representative, earning a commission on the sale, plus income on the after sale consumables and technical support. GWE distributorships can be very profitable ventures, due to the growth of many different markets served by GWE equipment. GWE engineers will design custom equipment for various applications, providing a level of customer support not available from GWE competitors. GWE is selective about appointing distributors. This ensures that GWE distributors will not be competing with each other in most cases, and that the quality of customer support is high. GWE equires it's distributors to maintain a high level of integrity and genuine interest in the customer's needs. Each distributor is expected to provide service support for the type of products sold. Distributors are usually appointed to serve key export markets, but some domestic areas may be appropriate for a very well-qualified distributor to handle.
