Electrical Energy Production

SGR
Alternative Energy Power Generators
GETTM
has acquired the rights to the
technology to produce SGR power generation modules of 20 MW each, using a highly
advanced & refined version of the German-developed PBMR (Pebble Bed Modular
Reactor) design. This system features many fail safe designs to make it
impossible to have any accident or contamination. Our minimum installation is 10
MW per hour. Our minimum contract is 20 MW per hour. The relatively small size
of our inherently safe power generators provides a number of strategic
advantages. The size and standardization permits factory fabrication, greatly
reducing delivery times and keeping the production costs modest. This results in
a relatively fast startup time for today’s critical energy needs, and a very
attractive cost per kWHr of electricity. Typical lead times are about 18-24
months. The systems feature environmentally friendly, low cost power. No CO2,
other greenhouse gasses or air pollution are produced. No water pollution
results from these systems. The modest load on cooling water can be virtually
eliminated by adding water desalination to the systems. The systems can be
installed close to the point of consumption, so that long distance power
transmission lines are usually not required. These systems are usually installed
on a BOO (Build Own Operate) basis, relieving the customer of the responsibility
for the capital costs. This technology features independence from petroleum
based generators, and hence offers long term price stability.
Power from High Tech SGRs
Ocean
Current Power Generators
GET offers totally
environmentally friendly electrical power from ocean currents. Ocean currents
are always flowing, with very stable velocity and tremendous power potential.
GET offers Submersible Power Generators (SPGs) on a BOO basis, where the
customer pays only for the power consumed on a long term contract basis. Each
SPG produces 10 MW of power from ocean currents, or smaller models produce 2 MW
each from navigable rivers. Our minimum installation is 10 MW, and minimum
contract is 20 MW for this technology. No emissions of any kind are produced,
and no negative environmental impact of any kind results from installing these
very green systems. There is not even any noise pollution or any land space
requirement, as the systems are submerged out of sight in the ocean. A high tech
cable brings the power to land. This superior technology is normally available
24/7, day and night. Due to oceanographic studies and production times, typical
lead time is 24-36 months.
These systems are usually
installed on a BOO (Build Own Operate) basis, relieving the customer of the
responsibility for the capital costs. This technology features independence from
petroleum based generators, and hence offers long term price stability.
Wind Power Systems
GET
offers wind generators from small (1 kW) for private homes to very large
(2 MW) for major grid power supply. Smaller systems are sold for user
installation or as turnkey projects, and larger systems greater than 20 MW are
usually financed by GET as BOO projects. For such BOO projects, with a long term
PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), usually for 25 years or more, GET will provide
the capital and undertake a turnkey project for power supply.
This technology features
independence from petroleum based generators, and hence offers long term price
stability. Wind produced electricity does not have greenhouse gas
emissions, or any air, water or land pollution, so it is therefore very
environmentally friendly.

Ocean Wave
Power
GET has access to efficient
technologies for producing power from ocean waves. This power supply is very
environmentally friendly, but requires a visible installation, which is not
practical for some locations. However, for locations where a visible
installation is not an issue, this green power source can be very beneficial.
For small projects, the systems can be sold & installed for local operation. For
larger projects, the BOO arrangement may be employed.
Power from Ocean Waves
Solar Power
GET has access to various
technologies for producing power from the sun. This power supply is very
environmentally friendly, and is available only during daylight hours. As with
other electrical power generating technologies, small solar projects are
available for purchase, while large projects may be purchased or contracted for
BOO operation.
Conventional
Generators
GET
offers traditional electrical power generators, such as diesel generators, gas
or diesel fuel fired turbines or other conventional type generators. Smaller
units are sold for customer use, and larger systems may be sold for customer use
or may be installed on a BOO basis with a long term PPA (Power Purchase
Agreement).
