GET Scale ZapperSizing
Guidelines The flow rate listed for each model is the minimum flow required for optimum performance. The maximum recommended flow rate is the minimum flow rate for the next larger model. Whenever possible, select the Scale Zapper model that will accommodate your usual flow rate within its range. Typically, the Scale Zapper model will be the same as your line size or slightly smaller. For residential applications, as a rule of thumb, use
the following guidelines to estimate typical flow rates. There are many
variables that cannot be covered here. But the guidelines that follow will be
helpful. When water is used for irrigation, swimming pools, or other additional
uses, this usage must be considered when sizing the Scale Zapper. Some
irrigation usage is assumed in the chart below for houses, but not for
apartments. A washing machine is also assumed for houses, not for apartments. Apartments 1
