Special Filters for Removal of These superb filters remove sediment and other particulate contaminants, pesticides and organic compounds, chlorine and chloramines, and dangerous cysts such as Giardia and Crytpsporidium. The filters greatly improve the taste of your water, while protecting you from many contaminants often found in city water, well water or surface water. These filters are used by restaurants, hotels, home and condominiums, offices and other applications with flow rates of 1 Gallon per Minute (4 Liters per Minute) and up. Our largest standard filter shown below filters up to 20 GPM (76 LPM). Larger filters are custom made to meet any flow rate. Smaller filters can be installed in-line before coffee makers, drink mixing stations, refrigerators and ice makers, drinking water faucets and others. Larger filter systems can be used to provide pure water for the whole house, office, restaurant or other establishment. They enhance the taste and quality of the water. Upgrading to the two-stage system will greatly extend the life of the 0.5 micron filter by means of a 1 micron prefilter. If sediment is heavy, the three-stage systems which include an additional 5 micron prefilter are recommended. |
